Apodi Fund Raising

For those of you following our fundraising efforts in 2017 we are delighted to announce that as a company we raised an amazing £5,990. Many of our staff in many departments contributed to this fantastic total with special mentions to The Finance Team, HR &D and then to those who took place in the Apodi Teams and Recruitment challenge 2017 (ARTC 2017). Funds raised are going to support Daisy’s Dream, Charity Action for Children, the NSPCC and MacMillan Cancer Support. The ARTC 2017, which took place over the last quarter of the year was the biggest contributor to this total, raising 74% of the funds. The winning team in the challenge was the “The Trek to the Top Team” - Paddy Norris, Steve Jones, Ric Mansfield and Iqbal Khan, who took on England’s highest mountain and raised a whopping £770. Further special mentions to:
The team that raised the most money which was Glenn Cronks team of 12, who raised a whopping £1,162 by walking part of the South Downs Way.
The Pentland Commandoes for breaking through the pain barrier with the strenuous “hike” over the Pentlands surpassing their own expectations.
The Deb-onairs, a team of two, Katherine Fletcher and Gill Burns who raised an incredible £260 on one of the windiest days in October.

So, a big well done and thanks to everyone at Apodi that took part or donated to the events. Looking forward to see what we can do in 2018!
